Torrox is divided into Torrox Pueblo and Torrox Costa. Torrox Pueblo is a small Spanish town that rests on a hill and is characterized by a pleasant tranquility among white village houses and small squares. Down by the sea is Torrox Costa, which can be experienced as more lively, and there are homes close to the beach, beach restaurants and a promenade.
According to meteorological surveys, Torrox's subtropical climate is the best in Europe. Exotic fruits such as mango, avocado and citrus fruits are grown in the area.
The well-kept promenade is a popular meeting point for both locals and visitors, whether you want to take a jogging trip or relax on an outdoor terrace in front of the sea.
The resort has several long sandy beaches and plenty of beach restaurants with freshly caught seafood. International gastronomy, ice cream parlors and cafés are also everywhere.
To Nerja it only takes 10 minutes by car. Malaga city and airport can be reached in about 40 minutes by car. For golf enthusiasts, it takes about 10 minutes by car to Baviera Golf.
