At the foot of the Sierra Almijara mountain range lies Punta Lara. Here you live just west of Nerja's town centre among whitewashed houses and colourful flowers in classic Andalusian style. The area consists of apartments and townhouses with pool areas, as well as villas with private pools. Owning property here offers good rental opportunities.
The lovely natural beach of Playazo is within walking distance, which many people appreciate precisely because it is undeveloped. The stretch into the centre of Nerja is a popular walking route. If you don't want to go into the centre of Nerja, there are a few restaurants in the area, including Avalon, which is very popular. There is also a small supermarket and a cosy bar nearby. You can easily get to Nerja via the local bus. By bike or car it only takes a few minutes.
