La Mata beach begins in the Torreblanca area in the south and ends with La Mata village in the north. It has always been an attractive area for Swedes and Scandinavians and it is easy to understand why. As early as the 1970s, Skanska began to build housing for Swedes here and the trend has continued.
Of course, there are also other nationalities in the area and it is a good mix of holiday and permanent housing.
