Charming apartment in Vistamar 8 with stunning sea views, nestled in sought-after Mil Palmeras
Mil Palmeras, Pilar de la Horadada
Adjacent north to Torre de la Horadada is Mil Palmeras, which since the beginning of the 1980s has been a very popular destination for Swedes when it comes to buying a home, both for holiday homes and permanent housing. There is a reason why the first houses built here during this time are called "Vikingos".
This village clearly lives in the summer when it crowds with people in the many restaurants along the pedestrian street a stone's throw from the sea, but many have also found their place in the village in the winter, when the pace is much calmer.
Around the village there are many green areas and walking paths, which encourage activity. Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada are joined by Pueblo Latino and the neighborhoods have grown together in recent years, allowing for a greater range of restaurants and services within walking distance.
Mil Palmeras (which translates literally to mean 1000 palm trees) has long white sandy beaches that border the Mediterranean. All the beach kiosks or chiringuitos here are open all year round, which has greatly contributed to keeping the area more vibrant and active throughout the year. The municipality does its utmost to offer free activities on weekends during the winter season in the form of yoga and zumba, which is constantly increasing in popularity among those who live here during the low season.
Pilar de la Horadada, Torre de la Horadada and Mil Palmeras are located along the N-332 coastal road and are easily accessible from Alicante Airport (45 mins drive) through the AP-7 motorway.
